Puncheur’s 2nd birthday
It’s been two years this November since Puncheur opened its doors. What started as a pop-up cafe and roastery has become a fully fledged operation providing caffeine and beans seven days a week to locals and visitors to Noosa. It’s also added a wholesale service, online business and event space in that time.
Justin’s favourite pour
Justin limits his coffee drinking to just two cups a day. His first for the day is the new organic roast Neo served as a double shot, 3/4 flat white in a tulip cup (colloquially known as the ‘Bongo’ in Noosa or ‘Magic’ in cities such as Melbourne). It is strong and flavoursome.
Cycling and Puncheur
You know what they say about cyclists and cafes, right? You always know a good coffee shop by the number of cyclists sitting out the front. Cycling is a big part of Puncheur’s culture, you’ll find bike racks out the front and a couple of times a year we open the orders for Puncheur’s very own Pedla-designed cycle kit.
Eats and treats
Slowly but surely we’ve added to Puncheur’s menu, expanding the breakfast, lunch and snack options. Our menu now includes toast and pastries from organic Noosa baker Tanglewood, filled Bagel boy bagels, breakfast wraps, avocado toast plus more sweet and savoury options such as raw treats from Noosa’s Mumma O.
Good design is in our bones
Puncheur Coffee Roasters is much more than a name or a space. It’s a brand with personality. Puncheur co-founder Jodie Branov, Justin’s partner in business and life, is a former Melbourne-based interior designer known for her industrial style work and natural eye for detail.
We are Puncheur
Apart from great coffee, it’s the people at Puncheur that makes the business hum along and keeps customers coming back each day. Jodie and Justin pride themselves on surrounding themselves with exceptional staff who know coffee and love serving people.
